- Eligible businesses: The business must be located in a low- or moderate-income census tract to qualify for the LMI program and to obtain the special rate.
- Loan size: $10,000-$500,000. Time in business: minimum six months.
- IInterest rate (1% below the Bank’s current pricing or the promotional rate, whichever is lower).
- Special Program: Three months in business; the company must be working with an approved technical assistance provider; $10,000-$25,000.
Technical Assistance Partners:
The Bank will work with not-for-profit intermediaries to assist small business owners through the financing process from loan application through closing. Community partner intermediaries may include community development corporations, other non-profit training and counseling organizations, and government agencies or departments that support neighborhood and economic development. The lender will use the established and updated list of technical assistance providers on www.mass.gov/bizteam.
